Accountabilities


  • Certify own work and the work of others after verifying that tasks have been performed in accordance with approved data and within the scope of authorization.
  • Complete all documentation accurately and on time, in accordance with company procedures.
  • Carry out maintenance in compliance with company, health and safety, and airport regulations.
  • Ensure all materials, parts, tools, equipment, and documentation are prepared at the start of each shift.
  • Maintain a clean and hazard-free environment to prevent Foreign Object Damage (FOD).
  • Provide guidance and assistance to Technicians to ensure safe and effective working practices.
  • Ensure equipment and work areas are maintained in a clean, serviceable, and safe condition.
  • Demonstrate a professional approach when interacting with colleagues, stakeholders, and customers.
  • Participate in training and development to enhance technical capability and professional contribution.
  • Adhere to company health, safety, and corporate image standards at all times.
  • Conduct inspections as required on Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and complete relevant checklists.
  • Perform daily inspections of company vehicles prior to use and complete the Vehicle Maintenance Inspection form.
  • Ensure all work performed under Etihad’s processes and procedures is completed safely and in line with quality standards.
  • Actively follow and promote the procedures outlined in the Safety & Quality Management Manual (SQMM).
  • Encourage a culture of safety and positive reporting across the team.


Education & Experience


  • High School Leaving Certificate / Diploma / University or College Degree.
  • Valid Aircraft Maintenance License (GCAA / EASA Part-66 / ICAO Type convertible to GCAA).
  • Minimum of two Etihad aircraft type ratings (Level 3) — Boeing 777 / 787 or Airbus 320 / 350 / 380 — with valid company authorization.
  • Minimum of 7–10 years of aircraft maintenance experience, including at least 3 years in a Line or Light Maintenance environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong teamwork mindset with a commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.
